About The Role
We are looking to add a key member to our Deal Desk operations team within the finance dept. We’re looking for a hard-working, detail-oriented, problem solver and individual contributor who will own the “Ready Closed Won” process and work cross-functionally with sales to review and book purchase orders in order to close sales.
What You'll Do
- Own the “Ready Closed Won” process, which includes reviewing orders for products and services as against quotes, information in SFDC and against terms and conditions in customer and/or reseller agreements in order to book orders accurately, quickly and in accordance with CrowdStrike revenue policies.
- Work directly with sales and other departments as necessary in order to correct and book orders in “ready closed won” process.
- Effectively resolve booking related issues by collaborating with sales, billing, revenue recognition and other relevant teams.
- Provide comprehensive guidance/help to sales to educate them and to resolve issues with ‘Customer First’ mentality.
- Work on different DealDesk requests raised by sales.
- Work extended hours in the end of each month in order to help close important deals.
- Proactively find out solutions for non-standard questions by sales
- Closely partner with key cross-functional teams (sales, legal, product mgt, ops, and finance) to drive deal closure.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of CrowdStrike products and services.
- Provide corrective guidance and direction to sales on all opportunities issues identified.
- Leverage and share with others on the team best practices associated with the activities of everyday work.
- Provide regular process improvement/best practice (what has worked well on an opportunity/ies) to deal desk leadership.
- Actively join, engage and participate on key business projects.
- Assist Invoicing and Collection team on how to remedy issues.
- Investigate deals and troubleshoot solutions.
- Maintain a strong understanding of current CS offerings (product, services) to enable critical quote/opp review.
- Find, articulate, and drive implementation of innovative opportunities to scale the business and reduce ‘friction’ where we can.
- Align to CrowdStrike core values as part of everyday performance of these responsibilities.
What You’ll Need
Any bachelors degree and relevant work experience of 5-7 years. Attention to detail is mandatory – this requires a high level of accuracy and detail focus. Excellent written and oral communication skills Enthusiasm and willingness to work hard. Prior working experience in any/all of the following is not mandatory, but is a plus:
- Prior knowledge and accounting operations experience in a high tech, fast growth environment.
- Experience working with sales organisations in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working on Salesforce.com and Tableau reporting
- Working knowledge how the order process impacts revenue recognition.
Shift Time: 7 AM IST to 4 PM IST
