As the Supervisor - Sales Operations, you will be responsible for supervising, coaching, and developing the Sales Operations team to ensure they are successful in their day-to-day activities. You will collaborate with Managers of Sales Operations and Sales leaders to overseeing a smooth, effective sales process to enable the growth of the organizations they support.
Responsibilities:
- Supervises sales operations team members to ensure customer quotes, orders, deliveries, and inquiries are met in a timely manner.
- Supports the sales process by working with various internal departments to coordinate selling opportunities for assigned accounts.
- Follows-up with sales representatives and technical specialists, updates the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database and provides follow-up communication to internal and external customers.
- Ensures team members provide pricing support and process purchase orders for customers in assigned territory.
- Streamlines and optimizes sales processes.
- Provides sales team with data reports as needed.
- Participates in regularly scheduled meetings to measure progress of set objectives.
- Defines sales operations expectations for utilization and data quality within Salesbook.
- Drives consistent processes using well defined datasets, including historical trends, backlog, and pipeline from Salesbook to establish branch, district, and region forecasts, including supplier volume rebates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 5 years of relevant experience in a Sales Operations position
- 1+ years of experience as a team lead or sales leader
- Ability to supervise multiple tasks at once
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Sense of urgency and deadline driven
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrates attention to detail/organization skills
- Excellent written and verbal communications
