Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-rickshaw business in Noida, with a particular focus on managing and optimizing dealer store operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in dealer network management, inventory control, and customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure smooth operations, improve efficiency, and drive sales growth through a well-coordinated dealership network.
Key Responsibilities
Dealer Store Operations Management :
- Oversee and manage the operations of e-rickshaw dealer stores in the region, ensuring high standards of operational efficiency.
- Ensure stores are stocked with the right inventory levels, including e-rickshaw units, spare parts, and accessories.
- Implement and monitor store policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Sales and Performance Monitoring :
- Work closely with sales teams to meet and exceed sales targets for the dealership network.
- Analyze store sales performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and create action plans to address underperformance.
- Ensure that dealership staff are trained on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service.
- Inventory and Supply Chain Management :
- Coordinate with the supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of e-rickshaws and spare parts to dealer stores.
- Implement inventory management systems to prevent overstocking or stockouts, and reduce waste and losses.
- Monitor spare parts availability and usage, ensuring a seamless after-sales service experience for customers.
- Customer Service and After-Sales Support :
- Ensure that dealer stores provide excellent customer service, from initial inquiry through after-sales support.
- Implement processes to handle customer complaints, warranties, and service issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Work with the service team to ensure that customers' repair and maintenance needs are met efficiently.
- Dealer Network Expansion and Relationship Management :
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers and develop new dealer partnerships to expand the network.
- Lead efforts to onboard new dealers, including providing training and ensuring alignment with company standards and goals.
- Conduct regular visits to dealer stores to ensure operational compliance and address any challenges.
- Team Leadership and Development :
- Lead and mentor the operations team, including store managers, sales executives, and support staff, to achieve operational goals.
- Ensure regular training and development for dealer staff on company policies, product knowledge, and customer service.
- Promote a positive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration across stores and departments.
- Process Improvement and Efficiency :
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency in the dealership network, from inventory management to customer service.
- Implement technology solutions (e.g., CRM, ERP systems) to streamline operations, improve reporting, and enhance decision-making.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operations and take corrective actions as needed.
- Compliance and Reporting :
- Ensure dealer stores comply with company policies, local regulations, and safety standards.
- Prepare regular reports on store performance, inventory levels, and sales metrics for senior management.
- Monitor government policies and incentives related to the e-rickshaw industry and ensure dealership operations align with any relevant regulations.
Qualifications
- Experience : 6+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in the automotive, electric vehicle, or e-rickshaw segment, with a proven track record of managing dealer store operations.
- Education : Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field. An MBA or related certification is a plus.
- Dealer Management Experience : Strong experience managing or running dealer stores, with knowledge of dealership operations, inventory management, and sales processes.
- Leadership : Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, including store managers, sales staff, and support personnel.
- Sales and Operations : Strong understanding of sales processes, customer service, and after-sales support in the e-rickshaw or related industry.
- Analytical Skills : Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze operational data and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication : Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with dealers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Tech-Savvy : Proficiency in using operations management software (e.g., ERP, CRM) and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis.
