For our Distribution Sales business, within the ePayments division of Giesecke+Devrient Group, we are looking for an ambitious and curious team player within the headquarter in Munich.The “ePayments Business Development and Distribution Sales Manager ” shall be supporting the Head of Distribution Sales in driving strategic growth initiatives for Public Sector, Transit, Mobility and Veridos topics by closely coordinating with the global Sales teams, Product Management, Customer Project Management, Customer Service, Demand Analysis, Deal Desk, Marketing and other support teams.
Your tasks
- Lead initiatives for strategic development of Enterprise and Transit domains by closely coordinating with the Head of Distribution Sales and the Head of Product Management.
- Hold regular meetings with the global sales team members to assess challenges in existing business and support needed in new areas of growth.
- Hold regular meetings with Product Management and clearly articulate outside-in (via sales team and field inputs from other channels) views of market requirements.
- Analysis of competition activities in major regions
- Articulating the regular information gathered for mid-term/long term strategy for presentation to the Core Leadership Team (territory reviews)
- Holding regular team meetings with the global sales team to ensure accuracy of sales forecasts and supporting them by escalating pain points through the organization
- Special focus on Veridos Intercompany business with US & Canada by holding regular meetings with eP (client services/demand planning) & Veridos (Sales) to ensure accuracy of sales forecast
- Assess challenges in operations impacting forecasted revenues
- Articulating the regular information gathered for presentation to the Core Leadership Team (delivery outlook reviews)
Your Qualifications
- Completed degree in economics or technical/natural sciences or comparable qualification
- At least 5 - 10 years of relevant professional experience in the areas of business development and Sales
- Experience building new business plans, working with multiple stakeholders including Product Management, Global Sales Team, Marketing & Strategy would be an added plus
- Basic Technical understanding of Smart Cards for Payments/Authentication/Transit/Identity/Telecommunication/other domains is a must
- Independent, collaborative and service-oriented way of working, analytical skills, persuasiveness, commitment and flexibility
- Determined and “can-do-attitude” way of working
- Very good written and spoken English, knowledge of German is an advantage
- Willingness to travel (up to 20-30%).
