Purpose:
- Responsible for all or most management activities that span functional areas without major emphasis in any one functional area.
- Manages the operation of a large business unit or functional area of of Xerox. May manage a subsidiary.
Scope:
Specific:
- Has total operational or functional accountability within the business unit or function.
- Works strategically with other senior leaders. Is typically looking at least 3-5 years ahead.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Participates with other top executive positions in formulating current and long-range strategies, objectives, and global policies.
- Responsible for directing the organization to ensure the attainment of financial and strategic goals within the geography in support of the company’s overall financial and strategic objectives.
- Responsible for developing short- and long-term strategic plans for advancing the company’s products and/or services to meet market demands.
- Responsible for multiple profit and loss centers and for directing a full complement of multiple senior managers to ensure the attainment of financial and strategic business goals.
- Responsible for establishing and attaining objectives, business plans and financial budgets.
