THE OPPORTUNITY
As a Revenue Operations Analyst, reporting to the Director, Revenue Operations, you
will directly support the global go-to-market sales and customer success teams. This means having direct knowledge and experience in crucial revenue operations systems such as Salesforce.com, Salesloft, Tableau, and our own Xactly tools. This role will provide direct support through the teams mentioned, to facilitate smooth operations for the revenue teams globally, inclusive of sellers, customer success managers, sales leaders, directors, solution consultants, and lead generation teams. Process improvement and process support is critical for this role to enhance existing Xactly functions and look to innovate in the usage of existing systems such as Xactly Forecasting and Gainsight.
Success in the role requires a team-player approach, ability to deal with demanding internal customers, the ability to work across an organization with disparate needs, and the creativity and original thinking to ensure processes fit a need
Skill Set / Qualifications
- BA/BS required
- 4+ years work experience required; Sales/Revenue Operations for Tech/Saas companies OR equivalent experience in the Enterprise Software/Internet Industry with SaaS focus ideal
- Comfortable presenting and engaging with cross-functional teams and executive management
- Able to prioritize requests based on importance and timing for key decision-making events
Nice-to-have Skills
- Proven experience supporting large projects to completion in a fast-paced SaaS environment
- Strong interpersonal, communication, skills. Must have executive presence.
- A highly entrepreneurial “roll up your sleeves” mindset; excited about making an impact at a fast-growing company
- Significant experience with reporting and dashboards in Salesforce CRM, as well as the Sales forecasting process & methodologies
- Ability to navigate through and communicate complex ideas effectively - verbally, in writing, and in presentations
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Global Revenue organization to drive the adoption of key process improvements
- Drive rigor and accuracy in the forecasting process (Bookings, Retention & Professional Services)
- Identify areas of process improvement across the entire Customer Lifecycle
- Assist with the creation of territories, bookings & churn policies, and quota assignment
- Ownership of key reporting metrics to Sr Leadership (i.e. Gross Revenue Retention trends)
WITHIN THREE MONTHS, YOU’LL
- Have a strong understanding of the business, and begin teaching us a thing or two we don’t know
- Understand in great detail the setup of the technical process and flows within our revenue operations systems, helping direct the roadmap and will have delivered a few minor process improvements & projects
WITHIN SIX MONTHS, YOU’LL
- Begin to implement the vision for change/impact that you have been developing over the past 6-months
- Drive the roadmap and advise on areas that need development and prioritization
- Be a trusted advisor to the Revenue organization
WITHIN TWELVE MONTHS, YOU’LL
- At 12-months, you will be seen as a well-versed, trusted business expert, making a significant positive impact to the Revenue organization
- Identify further personal education opportunities to increase your business and instructional acumen
- Be the SME on the Revenue Process at Xactly
