Role Summary:
As a Deal Desk Manager, you will oversee deal structuring, pricing, and contract approval processes to support the sales team and ensure alignment with business objectives. Reporting to the Director of Deal Desk, this role will enhance workflows, mitigate risks, and contribute to achieving revenue goals.
Responsibilities:
- Deal Review & Approval: Manage daily deal structuring and approval processes, ensuring compliance with pricing and discounting policies.
- Pricing Support: Advise on pricing strategies for complex deals in collaboration with sales and finance.
- Contract Management: Ensure contract compliance and manage amendments in partnership with legal and sales teams.
- Process Improvement: Streamline deal desk workflows and enhance approval processes.
- Risk Management: Collaborate with finance and legal to mitigate risks associated with non-standard contract terms.
- Reporting & Insights: Track metrics such as deal cycle times and pricing trends to provide actionable recommendations.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to optimize deal strategy and execution.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Analytical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, and business intelligence tools.
- Pricing & Structuring Expertise: In-depth knowledge of pricing strategies, contract terms, and deal execution.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in reviewing deals and ensuring compliance.
- Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work effectively with sales, finance, and legal teams.
- Process Optimization: Experience in identifying and implementing workflow improvements.
- Experience: 5+ years in deal desk, sales operations, or revenue operations, preferably within SaaS or technology industries.

- SaaS Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with SaaS metrics and their influence on pricing and contracts.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Salesforce, CPQ tools, and contract lifecycle management systems.
