This role involves developing and maintaining reporting systems, maintaining the CRM (Salesforce), collaborating with cross-functional teams, and identifying opportunities for process improvement. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and an understanding. Key responsibilities include:
- Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze market trends, sponsorship opportunities, and partnership performance to provide actionable insights.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with the partnership sales teams to develop tailored presentations, proposals, and partnership strategies.
- Performance Metrics: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of existing partnerships, ensuring optimal ROI for stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, finance, and operations, to align partnership strategies with the business objectives.
- Data: Manage the real time input of the sponsorship sales process into Salesforce whilst collaborating with internal data resources to develop standardized rate card for sponsorship assets.
- Reporting: Produce a standardized weekly pipeline report
- Activity monitoring: Take lead role in creating standardized internal deal sheets showing all associated deliverables and costs
- Process improvement: Monitor and share best practices regarding sponsorship materials and proposals and create systems to ensure coordination and tracking processes with internal departments including legal, creative etc
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, marketing, sports management, or a related field with previous experience in in sales analytics, partnership management, or a related role, preferably within sports, media, or entertainment with previous experience of Salesforce. Additionally, we are looking to identify individuals with:
- Previous experience in a reporting, or business analyst or partnership marketing role within a sales or partnerships environment
- An understanding of sponsorship process from prospecting, proposals, contract to execution.
- The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Strong business acumen and understanding of sales operations and processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect, analyse, and report finding clearly coupled with an attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
