We’re looking for a talented and driven Sales Operations Manager to lead, develop, and optimize our sales team.
Role Overview:
As the Sales Operations Manager, you will be at the core of driving our sales team's performance and efficiency. This role combines leadership, strategy, and data-driven optimization to create a high-performing, remote sales team. Your primary responsibilities will include leading and managing the sales team, optimizing workflows, and driving continuous improvement through training, accountability, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing remote sales team (between 2-4 sales reps and up to 2 appointment setters).
- Organize and lead weekly sales meetings and training sessions.
- Deliver professional development training to enhance team skills and morale.
- Audit emails, calls, and demos, providing actionable feedback to improve effectiveness on a daily and weekly basis.
- Accountability & Performance Monitoring:
- Hold the team accountable for achieving KPIs and other performance metrics.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities. Know when we need to adjust SOP’s to build capacity, scale up or down the team.
- Optimization & Strategy:
- Review and A/B test scripts and sales processes to continuously optimize results.
- Identify and implement tools and workflows to improve team efficiency and success.
- Collaborate across teams to align sales efforts with broader company objectives.
- Data & Reporting:
- Generate detailed reports and dashboards to track team performance.
- Use insights from data to make informed decisions and adjust strategies.
- Regularly present findings and recommendations to leadership.
Qualifications:
- You’re #1 superpower must live in the world of organization, analyst, and project management. You’re #2 super power must be understanding how to effectively train up successful sales leaders. There are a lot of people who are great at #2, but not many who are #1. It must be in that order. Too many successful salespeople do not have the complementary skill set to be highly organized (And that’s Ok, but that’s not what we are looking for).
- Proven experience with the job requirements above… show me you’ve done this before with success and HOW you achieved it.
- Strong background in sales operations, training, and professional development.
- Skilled in analyzing sales data and implementing improvements. This means you gotta be awesome with spreadsheets and technology.
- Experience with A/B testing scripts, optimizing sales workflows, and using CRMs like HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team while maintaining accountability.
- Familiarity with remote team tools (e.g., Slack, Zoom, Asana).
