We are currently looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Sales Operations Executive to join our team and support our growing operations in India.
Position Overview:
The Sales Operations Executive will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the sales operations function, ensuring smooth coordination between the sales, marketing, and supply chain teams. This role is essential in ensuring that sales processes run efficiently, customer data is accurately managed, and reporting requirements are met to facilitate strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Reporting & Analysis:
- Assist in the preparation of regular sales reports, including daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance metrics.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential issues.
- Track sales KPIs and ensure timely reporting to the Sales team and leadership.
- Sales Order Processing & Coordination:
- Support the processing and tracking of sales orders, ensuring all orders are accurately entered into the system and delivered on time.
- Coordinate with the supply chain and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Assist in resolving any issues related to order discrepancies, shipping, or customer inquiries.
- CRM Management & Data Accuracy:
- Maintain and update customer and sales data in the CRM system to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Assist the Sales team in utilizing CRM tools for managing customer relationships, leads, and opportunities.
- Ensure data quality by regularly auditing CRM records and resolving discrepancies.
- Sales Operations Support:
- Assist in the preparation and execution of sales campaigns, promotions, and initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure all operational aspects of promotional activities are executed efficiently.
- Support in managing sales-related documentation, such as contracts, agreements, and reports.
- Sales Forecasting & Tracking:
- Assist in tracking sales forecasts and monitoring progress against targets.
- Support in gathering relevant data for sales forecasting and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the sales operations function and provide recommendations to increase efficiency.
- Work with the Sales Operations Manager to implement new processes or systems to improve sales effectiveness.
- Customer Service & Communication:
- Serve as a point of contact for sales-related queries from internal teams.
- Coordinate with the customer service team to address customer-related issues, ensuring a smooth sales process from order to delivery.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Sales Support, or a related role.
- Prior experience in the cosmetics, FMCG, or retail industries is a plus.
- Experience working with CRM systems (MAssist, FieldAssist) and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with DMS - Distributor Management Systems
- Skills:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and present insights.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) and other reporting tools.
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently.
