Eltropy is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Deal Desk Analyst to support our sales operations and deal structuring processes. This role requires a strong understanding of pricing, contract management, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize deal execution and ensure compliance with company policies.
Role & Responsibilities:
Deal Structuring & Review
- Analyze sales deals for compliance with Eltropy’s pricing, discounting, and contract policies.
- Ensure proper checks and balances within CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) processes.
- Review deal terms, pricing, and contract language for accuracy and alignment with company guidelines.
Deal Desk Operations
- Manage the deal flow process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of sales orders and contracts.
- Ensure adherence to SLAs (Service Level Agreements) in deal approvals and execution.
- Oversee CPQ processes and maintain system integrity.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, and other teams to facilitate deal closures.
- Act as the primary point of contact for deal-related escalations and issue resolution.
- Provide guidance to sales teams on deal structures and policies.
Pricing & Discount Analysis
- Evaluate pricing strategies and discount requests.
- Provide insights and recommendations to sales teams to enhance deal profitability.
- Assist in the development of pricing models and discount frameworks.
Contract Management
- Review and negotiate contract terms in collaboration with the Legal team.
- Ensure contracts comply with company policies and legal requirements.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve contractual issues.
Reporting & Analysis
- Generate reports on deal performance, pricing trends, and sales metrics.
- Identify trends in deal cycles and provide actionable insights to management.
- Monitor and report on deal pipeline efficiency and effectiveness.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline deal processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Document deal desk procedures and recommend enhancements.
Sales Support & Training
- Provide deal-related support to sales teams, addressing inquiries and issues.
- Train sales teams on deal desk processes, CPQ tools, and pricing strategies.
Compliance
- Ensure all deals align with company policies, industry regulations, and financial principles.
- Maintain thorough documentation to support audit and compliance requirements.
What You Offer:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales operations, finance, deal desk, or a related field.
- Prior experience in the SaaS industry is a plus.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess deal structures and risks.
- Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis).
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) and CPQ systems is highly preferred.
- Financial and legal acumen, including an understanding of revenue recognition, pricing strategies, and contract management.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in deal execution.
- Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
