Our client, a leading player in the steel supply industry with nearly three decades of success and a strong national presence is seeking a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team. Location: Langley or Abbotsford, BC
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee multiple business divisions and work closely with general managers.
- Lead financial strategy, planning, and analysis to drive profitability and growth.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, focusing on discipline and efficiency.
- Oversee receivables, payables, purchasing, cash flow, and HR functions.
- Build and maintain strong banking relationships to ensure optimal financing strategies.
- Partner with executive leadership to enhance operational and financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- CA designation with a strong background in financial leadership.
- Proven ability to drive financial growth and manage risk in a high-volume business.
- Experience with international trade and banking relationships is required.
- Strong leadership, strategic decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work long hours when needed and stay committed to business success.
- Industry experience in steel, manufacturing, or industrial sectors is an asset but not required.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $220,000 - $240,000 + Annual Bonus (up to 100% of salary)
- On-Target Earnings: $330,000 - $480,000
- Car Allowance: $1,000/month
