What You'll Do
As CFO of Nimbyx, you will be a key business partner to the CEO and leadership team,
providing financial vision, operational rigor, and strategic direction to fuel our
aggressive growth.
Financial Strategy & Venture Capital Leadership
- Develop and execute a long-term financial strategy that aligns with venture capital investment and portfolio growth.
- Drive capital allocation strategies to optimize investment returns across multiple ventures.
- Oversee fundraising activities, including securing private equity, venture capital, and institutional funding.
- Manage financial risk and portfolio diversification, ensuring a strong balance sheet to support expansion.
Business Acumen & Operational Finance
- Implement a scalable financial infrastructure to support hypergrowth, international expansion, and acquisitions.
- Develop and maintain key financial models, forecasting, and valuation frameworks for venture investments.
- Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A), providing data-driven insights that drive decision-making.
- Partner with the CEO and business unit leaders to identify new revenue opportunities, cost optimizations, and financial efficiencies.
Investor Relations & Capital Markets
- Articulate Nimbyx’s growth strategy and financial performance.
- Spearhead M&A activities, due diligence, and financial structuring for potential acquisitions and partnerships.
- Monitor and assess market trends, competitor benchmarks, and investment opportunities to ensure a competitive edge.
Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure regulatory and financial compliance across multiple jurisdictions (Philippines, Canada, South Korea).
- Optimize tax structures, treasury functions, and cross-border financial strategies to maximize profitability.
- Lead financial risk assessment, governance, and internal controls for venture-backed businesses.

- Strong Leadership & Stakeholder Management: You can influence at all levels, from boardrooms to operational teams, ensuring alignment between financial strategy and business objectives.
- Global Financial Expertise: Experience managing multi-entity, international financial operations, including venture capital, M&A, and cross-border investment strategies.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably as a CFO or senior finance executive in a venture capital, fintech, or high-growth startup environment.
- Proven experience in venture funding, private equity, and investment structuring.
- Expertise in financial planning, corporate finance, M&A, due diligence, and risk management.
- Strong network in venture capital.
- CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred but not required if experience aligns with venture-backed finance leadership.
