POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for all finance and administration, including accounting and reporting, credit
control, risk management t, banking relationships, information technology, billing as well as
financial planning and analysis for all business entities
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Financial Strategy: Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy to support
business growth and profitability.
• Risk Management: Perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s
monetary and derivative assets and liabilities
• Investment Decisions: Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and
liquidity risks.
• Financial Planning: Drive the company’s financial planning and ensure cash flow is
appropriate for the organization’s operations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare reliable and timely financial statements and forecasts
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with the law and company’s policies.
• Team Management: Supervise 4 direct reports and all finance personnel, 65 employee
owners
• Mergers and Acquisitions: Identify investment opportunities and manage mergers and
acquisitions.
• Budgeting: Develop plans for growth to increase company profit while also reducing
expenditure.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Required
• Proven experience as CFO, finance officer, or relevant role.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate financial and risk management practices.
• Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA)
Preferred
• Master’s degree in business administration (MBA)
• Relevant experience in the petroleum products industry
• Experience in managing Information Technology
• Financial derivative experience
