Our client is entering an exciting phase as they embark on a new strategic plan this year. With the current political climate, momentum on tackling the challenges within the justice space and a focus on women and children, they are ready to embark on a transformation to maximise their impact and grow their work.
Our client wants to see their work scaled and replicated to provide more chances for women to avoid being sentenced into custody unnecessarily, and to prevent more children from being separated from their mothers and entering the care system as a result.
They are looking for someone who shares their passion and drive to deliver results. A solution focussed, action orientated individual, with excellent commercial acumen, vision, and the ability to hold a wide brief; leading complex negotiations and external conversations, alongside overseeing their core functions and strategic business planning.
The new position of Chief Financial Officer will support our client in achieving these bold ambitions. They are seeking a visionary leader to drive the strategic financial direction and sustainability of the organisation, ensuring that the charity has the organisational capability, resources and infrastructure it needs to deliver its vision. You will lead the development of the business plan to accompany the charity’s new strategy and work closely with the CEO, Executive Team, and Board of Trustees, providing expert financial leadership and ensuring the financial strategy is aligned with their mission and long-term goals.
This role can be based remotely, hybrid or from our client’s London office. You must be able to travel to their London office and to Southampton, when required. You will participate in Board and SLT meetings, and some in-person induction training and will be open to national travel and attendance at out-of-hours events as required.
