This newly created CFO position offers the opportunity to join the executive leadership team at a pivotal inflection point. The successful candidate will steer financial strategy, strengthen operational scalability, and support strategic growth levers including capacity expansion, automation, and global market penetration within a highly dynamic, PE‑backed environment.
Role Summary
As CFO, you will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and private equity sponsors, owning the full financial agenda while enabling value creation across a complex manufacturing footprint. You will oversee financial operations, guide investment decisions related to capex and capacity expansion, and support M&A in a sector where consolidation and technology-led disruption are accelerating.
You will play a central role in ensuring the business is optimally capitalised and operationally aligned to deliver scalable, compliant, and globally competitive growth.
Candidate Profile
- Senior finance leader with experience in advanced manufacturing, life sciences, biopharma supply chain, medical devices, or related industrial sectors.
- Proven track record of scaling a manufacturing business through organic growth, CAPEX investment, and acquisitions.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing KPIs including OEE, machine utilisation, yield, cost-to-serve, production cycle times, and supply-chain dynamics.
- Demonstrable experience in private equity environments, including investor relations and board-level stewardship.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to partner across operations, engineering, quality, and regulatory functions.
- Hands-on, strategic thinker able to operate in both high-compliance and high-growth environments.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent professional qualification.
