About the role
This role is perfect for a highly organised professional, who excels at maximizing a small team's efficiency, while balancing hands-on operational management with strategic execution.
Working closely with the CEO, you’ll oversee daily operations, align priorities, and drive growth and content marketing initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage OKRs to drive the timely and effective delivery of our strategic priorities.
- Hold internal and external stakeholders accountable for their role in delivering business initiatives on time and on budget.
- Develop, optimise, and manage robust operational processes that support daily business functions, and measure and monitor growth, risk, and treasury.
- Produce actionable business insights, operational reporting, and impactful material such as marketing collateral, our monthly report, and board packs.
- Ensure our brand voice, identity, and messaging are clear, consistent, and impactful across all customer touchpoints including web and mobile applications.
- Work closely with our digital associate and technology team to execute our content and marketing initiatives, ensuring they translate into customer acquisition and community engagement.
- Manage business communications for media, investors, and customers, ensuring our proposition is clear and market positioning remains strong.
This is a permanent full-time role based in Sydney.
As a growing team we thrive working together from our Sydney CBD office, with 1 day from home as required.
About you
- We’re looking for a high-impact individual who is seeking unlimited growth and thrives in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
- Joining during a period of rapid growth, you’ll need to be high-energy and comfortable working in a small team of fewer than ten before it expands.
- You’ll have a rare blend of financial acumen and strong written language skills, allowing you to convert business and product information into impactful and clear business and customer content.
- You’ll have a strong ownership mentality and the ability to drive initiatives from strategy to execution.
Skills and Attributes
- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities and stakeholders concurrently.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
- Outstanding attention to detail, with an eye for elegant design, and clear messaging.
- Ability to digest complex information and communicate it simply and effectively.
- Ability interpreting complex legal documents and preparing mark-ups for legal approval.
- Sound understanding of financial statements and ability to identify key business drivers.
- Strong interest in savings, investments, and financial well-being.
- Driven to continuously learn, iterate, and grow as much as we are.
Experience and Education Required
- Degree in Law or Accounting / Finance with a distinction to high-distinction average.
- 3–8 years' experience as a lawyer, accountant, consultant, investment banker.
- Experience performing the key responsibilities outlined above, with clear evidence you'd excel at any you have not undertaken.
- Understanding of general financial products and investment concepts.
