About the role.
As our Associate Director, Strategy and Business Operations, you will lead corporate, financial, procurement and contracts management processes to ensure compliance and operational efficiency. You will partner with business to develop budgets and business cases and lead forecasting and reporting to support the delivery of identified priorities. In this role, you will provide strategic advice and operational support to the Group’s Executive while guiding and supporting the Business Operations team.

Expertise in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting within a government organisation

Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, business administration, public administration, or a related field, or has equivalent professional experience

Proven ability to provide high-level strategic advice to senior executives, supporting informed decision-making and business planning
-
Strong background in procurement, contract management, and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
-
Skilled in implementing financial controls, identifying process improvements, and enhancing operational effectiveness
-
Experienced in leading teams, managing workloads, and driving operational efficiencies across financial and administrative functions

Adept at stakeholder engagement, balancing competing priorities, and navigating complex financial and governance environments.

Salary: Clerk Grade 11/12. Package includes base salary ($145,378- $ 168,130) plus superannuation and leave loading.
