We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Sales Operations Administrator to manage a portfolio of accounts. You’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring a seamless flow from order placement to fulfilment while maintaining high standards of communication and support.
Sportax are a distribution specialist for global brands in the UK&I marketplace. Established since 1996, we have a rich heritage in the sports and fashion industry, notably as the distributor of Nike accessories for more than a decade. Brands in our portfolio are Nike, Jordan and newly appointed distributor of Dakine. We work directly with the major performance and lifestyle retailers, including Frasers Group (Sports Direct), JD Group (JD and Size?), ASOS, Next, Lifestyle Sports and many others.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our wholesale accounts and internal partners to ensure excellent order book management from order entry through to invoice
- Manage day to day customer service activities with the aim to fulfil customer requests, resolve queries and provide creative solutions
- Maximise additional business opportunities by working with sales managers and customers
- Provide your sales team with information required to support account management and attend scheduled Account Manager meetings to ensure a full orderbook review
- Review Orderbook Tracker, ensuring stock is arriving in time to meet the customers’ requests, and communicating any possible delays accordingly.
- Ensure VAS and booking requirements are met and deadlines adhered to, liaising with the third-party warehouse team regarding deliveries
- Respond to all customer contacts in a professional and efficient manner, recording relevant information and following up with the appropriate actions as required.
Experience and Requirements:
- A strong customer service focus
- Highly developed organisational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to develop long lasting relationships with our key stakeholders
- Experience of working under pressure to meet deadlines and conflicting priorities
- Commercial experience preferably with knowledge of wholesale sales.
- Two years’ experience in a customer facing role, B2B experience preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Outlook and Order Management systems. Demonstrate the ability to confidently pick up new systems
