About The Role
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Operations Specialist to join our team. This role is a unique blend of business operations and data analysis, requiring a balance of strategic thinking and attention to detail. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency of our internal processes and serving as a bridge between our teams in China and the US. Additionally, they will be responsible for analyzing sales and marketing data to drive informed decision-making and optimize our strategies.
Responsibilities
- Business Operations (50%)
- Process Optimization: Review and streamline internal processes to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance workflow and reduce bottlenecks. Develop and maintain documentation for operational procedures and best practices
- Cross-Team Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact between our China and US teams, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration. Organize and lead regular cross-team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and opportunities. Ensure alignment of goals and strategies between teams, fostering a cohesive and productive working environment
- Project Management: Oversee key projects related to business operations, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed. Provide regular updates to senior management on project status and outcomes
- Sales and Marketing Enablement (50%)
- Sales Onboarding: Develop and manage a structured onboarding process for new sales team members. Ensure new hires are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and resources to succeed, including training on CRM systems, sales strategies, and internal processes. Monitor and track the progress of new hires during their onboarding journey, providing ongoing support and feedback
- Sales KPI Setting and Tracking: Collaborate with sales leadership to define clear and measurable KPIs for individual sales reps and teams. Regularly track, analyze, and report on sales performance against KPIs to ensure alignment with business goals. Use data-driven insights to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and recommend adjustments to improve sales performance
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis of sales and marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to present findings and recommendations to senior management. Utilize data visualization tools to make complex data easily understandable and actionable
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop data-driven strategies and tactics. Provide actionable insights to optimize sales performance, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement initiatives. Monitor the effectiveness of implemented strategies and make adjustments as needed based on data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in a cross-cultural or international environment
- Detail-oriented with a passion for process improvement and driving business success
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales, marketing performance tracking tools
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Bilingual in English and Chinese with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both languages
- Preferred Qualifications: familiar with sales cycles in SaaS. Experience working with global teams, particularly in China and the US. Knowledge of sales and marketing principles and best practices. Certification in project management (e.g., PMP)
