Position Summary
Based in Boca Raton, Florida, and reporting to the CEO. The Chief Financial Officer will play a critical role in fulfilling Cinch Home Service’s vision and achieving the company’s revenue and profitability growth objectives. The CFO will manage an organization of approximately 45 associates across a broad portfolio of functions, including accounting operations, control, tax, audit, financial and management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial planning and analysis, operations finance, treasury, pricing, commercial finance, and M&A.
S/he will serve as a strategic advisor and trusted business partner to the company’s CEO, Board, and executive team and will play a critical role in the ongoing business transformation, growth focus, and overall success of the company. Of particular importance, the CFO will actively facilitate the optimization of strategic growth investments and capital optimization. This is a high-impact and visible role with the mandate to build upon the strength of the financial organization to partner with leadership to drive industry-leading growth across the two core business segments, including Direct-to-Consumer and B2B2C Partnerships, and facilitate margin expansion through improved customer retention, digital transformation, and disciplined G&A rationalization.
Key Responsibilities:
The Chief Financial Officer will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution of all the company’s financial organization functions. S/he will:
- Serve as a key player in shaping the organization’s strategic vision and align financial strategies with the overall business strategy. This includes setting financial goals, developing financial plans, and ensuring they allocate financial resources to support your organization’s long-term objectives.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Finance & Accounting team to partner, guide, and support a mid-sized business through transformational phases and prioritizing profitable growth. An innovative mindset with an appropriate balance of opportunity and risk management in an entrepreneurial environment is key for this role.
- Oversee and direct all operational, commercial, and strategic finance, reporting and accounting, procurement, and cash. Provide input to the group corporate tax, group treasury, and legal functions.
- Lead the development and implementation of financial processes, systems, and associated internal controls, including general accounting functions in accordance with GAAP, financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, tax planning, M&A, and cash management. Evaluate and ensure that these processes are scalable to support 2X business growth over the next 3–5-year trajectory.
- Participate in the development of the company’s long-term business plans and strategies. Provide strategic financial input and leadership on major decision-making issues affecting the organization, i.e., evaluation of potential alliances, acquisitions, sales bid pricing, business model development, enterprise risk management, and capital investments.
- Evaluate and advise on the introduction of new business programs and strategies, the impact on long-term planning, and related regulatory actions.
- Develop and ensure compliance with company policies with respect to treasury and accounting procedures; collaborate with CCG Treasury to ensure that management of investment portfolio meets the day-to-day needs of the company; formulate and execute strategies and tactics that anticipate and meet the future needs of the organization.
- Lead and oversee the execution of the annual audit by the company’s independent external
- Ensure complete and accurate regulatory reporting and enquiries to state agencies; effective investment portfolio management to ensure proper funding of regulatory reserves.
- Ensure that the financial cadence is operating, including timely and accurate monthly closes, review of operating performance, forecasts, budgets, and long-range planning, including cash flow and capital investment management.
- Develop KPI dashboards (leading and laggard) to measure business performance and institute appropriate governance processes to monitor plans.
- Ensure accurate bank covenant debt compliance reporting and CFO certifications on a quarterly and annual basis; maintain strong relationships and network with bank/credit providers.
- Present financial and business updates/plans to the board, lending institutions, and investment bankers as appropriate and on a timely basis. Experience and accomplishment in capital raising process preferred (bank, private equity, syndications, etc.).
- Execute and evaluate M&A transactions as appropriate, including due diligence, deal negotiation, and post deal integration.
Skills & Experience:
Given the breadth of the job as defined and the importance of the position to Cinch Home Services’ continued growth and success, the ideal candidate for this role will be a strategic finance executive with the following background and experience:
- 15+ years of experience in financial leadership roles of increasing scope and responsibilities including demonstrated success in transformation environments.
- Experience at a growth-oriented B2C company with revenue of $400M+ in a fast-paced, high-performing, agile work environment.
- Led a financial team of 45+ people utilizing outstanding leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in hiring, developing, and retaining best-in-class talent.
- Broad functional experience in each functional area of the job, e., accounting and reporting, planning and analysis, treasury and cash management, tax, risk management, M&A, etc.
- Demonstrated success in leading financial planning and analysis and commercial decision support, including the ability to provide insightful, fact-based recommendations to operating executives.
- Deep expertise with recurring revenue/subscription business models, annual customer acquisition investments of $50M+, and familiarity with LTV: CAC optimization.
- Relevant industry experiences include DTC and B2B2C distribution, direct response marketing, and/or insurance business models, and ideally in one or more intersecting industries, e.g., home services, retail, financial services, utilities, move-related industries, or other Cinch partner verticals.
- Led successful buy and sell-side M&A transactions and demonstrated capital sourcing expertise.
- Prior experience working in early-stage or company’s growth through product-line/channel diversification, and in environments focused on step-change use of analytics and/or ML/AI a plus.
- Experience with successful corporate transformations is preferred.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Economics; MBA and CPA preferred.
