Role Overview:The Sales Operations Specialist is the glue that holds everything together, making sure our loan applications move seamlessly from start to finish. This is not your average role; you’ll be working at the heart of the sales team, helping ensure we deliver a smooth and efficient experience to customers, partners, and internal teams alike. From managing documentation and helping customers onboard to driving operational excellence, you’ll be an integral part of a company that’s scaling fast.
What You'll Do:
Loan Application Support:- Be the first point of contact for loan application administration, ensuring all documents are complete, accurate, and processed quickly.
- Work directly with brokers and underwriters, filling in any gaps, answering questions, and ensuring nothing slips through the cracks.
- Help customers with the nitty-gritty of their invoices – checking names, totals, dates, and ensuring everything adds up for a fast approval process.
- When accounts are on stop, you’ll be coordinating with credit teams, managing documentation, and making sure we get everything sorted so the process doesn’t stall.
Onboarding Facilitation:- Once an offer’s accepted, you’ll be the one ensuring customers are ready to move forward. This means getting KYC, guarantees, and all the formalities in place, so we can get the loan live as quickly as possible.
- Manage the transition to Customer Success, ensuring all operational tasks are complete and the customer’s journey is smooth.
Operational Efficiency:- You’ll be the one looking for ways to improve, to scale, to optimise. Whether it’s streamlining processes or suggesting tech upgrades, you’ll help us keep up with our incredible growth and ensure we’re always working smarter, not harder.
- Collaborate with all teams, from sales to underwriting to customer success, to make sure we’re all on the same page and moving fast.
Customer Communication:- Be the bridge between our sales team and customers. You’ll ensure customers know what’s happening with their applications, and proactively look for upsell opportunities when allowances are tight.
What You Bring:
- Experience:
- You’ve been in a sales operations, customer success, or similar role before, ideally in FinTech (but not necessary). If you’ve worked with brokers, underwriters, or lending processes then that’s very attractive!
- Skills:
- You’re incredibly organised and can handle multiple tasks without missing a beat.
- You’re a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment.
- You’ve got strong communication skills and can work across teams with ease.
- You’re tech-savvy, especially with CRM systems (like Salesforce) and spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets).
