Job description
The Operations associate will oversee operations at the Kancheepuram solar project site, ensuring seamless execution of solar energy projects, managing regulatory compliance, and supporting business expansion. The role requires expertise in Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), coordination with TANGEDCO, and strategic engagement with stakeholders. The EOA will also facilitate business processes, document key decisions, and contribute to the company's growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Project & Site Management:
- Oversee solar energy project execution, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely delivery.
- Manage Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) drafting, signing, and implementation.
- Handle slot-wise monthly power adjustments and coordination with TANGEDCO.
- Facilitate TNEB liaisoning for approvals, load enhancements, and regulatory updates.
- Evaluate EPC providers in collaboration with the project team for vendor selection and contract negotiations.
- Explore new land and load opportunities, sharing insights with relevant teams.
Coordination & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the company's representative in meetings with clients, government agencies, and industry bodies.
- Maintain clear documentation of meetings, including Minutes of Meetings (MoMs) and action items.
- Manage executive schedules, calendar bookings, and coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Participate in renewable energy events to build industry connections and identify growth opportunities.
Documentation & Business Processes:
- Draft quotations, proposals, and financial models to support project evaluation and client negotiations.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping of all operational and regulatory documentation.
- Assist in compliance reporting and stakeholder communication.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience in Solar EPC contracting, Solar IPP, or Renewable Energy sector.
- Experience in PPA drafting, signing, and execution.
- Excellent Communication skills
- Familiarity with TANGEDCO regulations and TNEB liaisoning .
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Calendar, and documentation tools.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills.
- Willingness to travel for business-related site visits and stakeholder meetings.
