Key Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
- Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals, growth plans, and market expansion.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis, forecasts, and business intelligence.
- Lead long-term financial planning, scenario modeling, and capital structuring.
Financial Management & Controls
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, working capital management, and financial reporting.
- Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and processes across the organization.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax regulations, and accounting standards (IND-AS/IFRS).
- Manage audit processes (internal, statutory, tax) and ensure clean audit outcomes.
- Work closely with regulatory bodies, legal counsel, and external auditors.
Public Company Expertise
- Manage investor relations, quarterly earnings, and disclosures for public shareholders.
- Prepare and present financial updates to the Board, analysts, and stakeholders.
- Oversee compliance with SEBI, ROC, and stock exchange regulations.
Business Partnering
- Collaborate with business and functional heads to drive margin improvement, cost efficiency, and ROI analysis.
- Support decision-making through financial modeling, risk assessment, and profitability analysis of new initiatives.
Capital Management
- Oversee treasury, cash flow planning, debt/equity management, and funding strategies.
- Manage relationships with banks, investors, and financial institutions to optimize capital cost and liquidity.
Team Leadership
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team.
- Drive a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement within the finance function.
Key Requirements
- 15–20 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles, preferably in the retail/FMCG/e-commerce sector.
- Chartered Accountant (CA) required; experience with publicly listed companies is highly preferred.
- Proven track record in strategic financial management, capital markets, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong business acumen, communication skills, and stakeholder management.
- Experience in digital transformation of finance, ERP systems (SAP/Oracle), and data analytics is a plus.
