The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for developing operational metrics, rigor, visibility, and scalability across NIIT's global B2B sales organization and EMs.
This role enables executive and sales leadership to have consistent dashboards, forecast better, and execute consistently across geos, verticals, named accounts and complex solution portfolios (Managed Training Services, Customer Education, Leadership Dev.
This is a high-impact, cross-functional role working at the intersection of Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Delivery.
Responsibilities
1. Sales Performance & Forecasting
- Own sales forecasting, pipeline data integrity, and deal inspection cadence
- Drive fortnightly /monthly sales operating reviews (Monthly Reviews)
- In partnership with sales leaders identify pipeline risks, gaps, and growth levers
- Ensure forecast accuracy and disciplined opportunity management
2. Sales Process & Governance
- Define and enforce end-to-end sales processes (lead -- opportunity -- close -- handover)
- Ensure consistent usage of CRM and sales tools across regions
3. CRM, Tools & Data Excellence
- Act as business owner for CRM (HubSpot) and sales analytics
- Design/manage dashboards for:
- Pipeline coverage
- Win/loss analysis
- Sales cycle time
- Conversion
- Drive CRM hygiene, adoption, and continuous improvement
4. Planning, Targets & Incentives
- Support annual and quarterly sales planning
- Align quotas, territories, and coverage models with GTM strategy
- Partner with Finance on incentive compensation compliance and tracking
5. Cross-Functional Alignment
- Act as the single operational bridge between:
- Sales
- Pre-Sales
- Marketing
- Finance
- Delivery / Operations
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience
- 8-12 years of experience in Sales Operations / Revenue Operations / Commercial Operations
- Experience supporting global B2B enterprise sales teams
- Background in services, SaaS, or complex solution selling preferred
- Exposure to multi-region, matrixed organizations
Skills & Capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Deep hands-on experience with CRM (Hubspot preferred)
- Ability to translate strategy into operational execution
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and scale
