Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who can lead the complete finance function and play a critical role in driving our IPO readiness and long-term financial sustainability. The CFO will manage day-to-day financial operations, fundraising, statutory compliance, and capital strategy, while ensuring the organization is IPO-ready with robust documentation and systems.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with business goals
- Advise the Board and CEO on capital structure, investments, and risk management
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control initiatives
Cash Flow & Working Capital Management
- Maintain optimum cash flow planning for operations, growth, and contingencies
- Ensure effective management of receivables, payables, and working capital cycles
- Build strong banking relationships to optimize credit lines and working capital facilities
- Monitor liquidity, treasury operations, and investment efficiency
IPO & Fundraising (SME IPO Focus)
· Lead IPO documentation and compliance process including:
o Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) & Red Herring Prospectus (RHP) coordination
o Liaison with merchant bankers, legal advisors, auditors, and SEBI/NSE/BSE authorities
o Ensure compliance with SEBI ICDR regulations and SME listing requirements
o Oversee due diligence, disclosures, corporate governance standards, and reporting frameworks
- Drive fundraising strategy – IPO, debt syndication, private equity, or strategic investors
Accounting, Audit & Compliance
- Oversee accounts, statutory audit, internal audit, and tax audit
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax, GST, FEMA, SEBI, and ROC filings
- Implement and monitor robust internal controls and governance frameworks
- Drive automation of financial reporting with ERP/finance tool
Business Planning & Performance Monitoring
- Partner with leadership to support strategic decision-making, tenders, and large contracts
- Design and monitor KPIs, MIS reports, dashboards, and performance reviews
- Support business expansion through project evaluations, capex planning, and ROI analysis
Candidate Profile
- Relevant experience in listing and post listing company in finance leadership roles, ideally in manufacturing/engineering industries
- Proven track record in cash flow management, fundraising, and IPO readiness (SME IPO preferred)
- Strong understanding of SEBI regulations, merchant banker processes, and listing documentation
- Expertise in corporate finance, capital markets, taxation, and compliance
- Proficient in ERP systems, financial modeling, and risk management frameworks
- Demonstrated success in tendering, long-term contracts, and project financing
- Exceptional leadership, analytical, and communication skills
