Strategic CFO- Property- Brisbane
Join a privately held property investment group with a diverse portfolio of businesses including property development, funds management, construction and operating businesses. We are seeking a strategic CFO with a property funds management or development background.
This is a strategic but hands-on leadership role focused on partnering a founder in driving enterprise value through oversight of finance, investment analysis, liason with capital partners and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee financial reporting for the Executive Committee and support Board and Family Office reporting
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis across all entities
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and optimize investment returns
- Partner with development and transactions teams on acquisitions, feasibility modelling, and due diligence
- Structure and negotiate debt facilities and manage lender relationships
- Lead a small team of 10 across Finance, IT and Risk
- Oversee audits and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in supporting a CEO or founder scale a business preferably within property investment or related sectors
- Expertise in debt structuring, investment analysis or dealing with capital partners highly regarded
