Primary Responsibilities:
- Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement the company’s financial strategies to support long-term growth and profitability.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, oversee financial forecasting, and ensure efficient allocation of resources.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and presentations for stakeholders and regulatory authorities.
- Risk Management: Identify financial risks, implement internal controls, and ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and audit requirements.
- Capital Management: Manage capital structure, investments, banking relationships, and funding requirements to optimize financial performance.
- Cost Management: Monitor operational costs, identify areas for improvement, and ensure cost efficiency across all departments.
- Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership to the executive team, board of directors, and shareholders.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to statutory compliance, corporate governance standards, and industry best practices.
- Performance Monitoring: Track financial KPIs, analyse variances, and recommend corrective measures.
- Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with investors, auditors, regulators, and external stakeholders to maintain strong financial credibility.
