Job Purpose:
The Business Operations Analyst will assist leadership in supporting and understanding the department and organization objectives. This role will help organize and coordinate projects related to important initiatives and will work with different team members within the department and across the organization to help carry out, monitor, and report on several projects connected to the enterprise goals.
Essential Duties:
- Help leadership turn strategic goals into projects by outlining what needs to be done, when it should happen, what the goals are, and what resources are required for success.
- Track and monitor project activities for all assigned projects.
- Organize and keep track of the department’s data, including reporting and making sure information is accurate. Support the QBR process as needed.
- Assist the RFP team by reviewing all relevant requirements and checking them against internal policies and processes.
- Draft project deliverables based on input from impacted stakeholders.
- Proactively identify risk areas related to project success or failure and work with leadership to address these risks before they impact project success
- Help keep projects on track by making sure everyone knows what to do and when things need to be done.
- Evaluate departmental processes and procedures to benchmark functional performance.
- Maintain timely communication with internal and external customers.
- Support and track performance metrics for the department.
- Partner with project management to align strategies and critical initiatives into the Enterprise PMO and Strategy Playbook.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to analyze and interpret data and make recommendations for action based on drawn conclusions.
- Strong ability to handle multiple priorities, work through ambiguous problems, align business partners, and track project deliverables and initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- 3+ years of related experience; equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- Business acumen, attention to detail and strong critical thinking skills are required
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Effective collaboration skills and ability to work as part of a team
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office required
- Good prioritization and organization skills
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret policies and procedures,
- Ability to generate reports and business correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from all levels of employee workforce
- Experience working in a consulting environment, in industry or as a professional service
- Lean (six sigma) training & understanding of core operational process improvement vectors
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, talk, hear, and operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment.
- Occasionally may need to reach, stoop, or kneel.
