Position Title:
Director of Strategic Partnerships
Position Overview
Beyond the Game Health is seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships to spearhead sponsorship development and national brand collaborations across our high-visibility sports and community health activations.
This is a commission-based, high-impact role for a dynamic, relationship-driven professional with a proven track record of securing sponsorships, cultivating partnerships, and driving revenue through purpose-aligned collaborations. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the business of sports and cause marketing, and is passionate about connecting brands to meaningful community engagement opportunities.
As BTGH expands its footprint nationally, this role offers significant growth potential, with opportunities to evolve into a full-time executive leadership position overseeing multi-market partnership strategy and revenue operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, pitch, and secure strategic sponsorships and brand alliances across corporate, sports, health, tech, and lifestyle sectors.
- Develop and customize sponsorship decks, proposals, and activation plans tailored to each partner’s objectives and audience.
- Lead outreach and negotiations with brand decision-makers, agencies, and foundations to close sponsorship opportunities for marquee BTGH events.
- Maintain and expand BTGH’s sponsor pipeline, delivering regular progress updates and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with BTGH leadership, event producers, and athlete partners to integrate sponsor activations into event experiences.
- Oversee sponsor deliverables to ensure seamless fulfillment, visibility, and post-event reporting.
- Represent BTGH at industry events, conferences, and networking engagements to cultivate new relationships.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in sponsorship sales, partnership development, or fundraising (sports, entertainment, or nonprofit experience preferred).
- Established network across corporate marketing, sports, media, or philanthropic organizations.
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable operating on a commission-driven structure.
- Strategic thinker with an understanding of cause marketing, CSR initiatives, DEI, and health equity advocacy.
- Passionate about sports, community empowerment, and creating social impact through partnerships.
