Professional Experience
- 8–15 years of progressive experience in finance leadership roles
- Exposure to multi-location operations
- Proven track record in financial strategy, compliance, and ERP implementation
Preferred Add-ons
- Familiarity with inventory-heavy businesses and working capital optimization
- Prior role as Head of Finance, VP Finance, or CFO in a mid-sized or scaling company

Key Objectives of the Role
We’re seeking a strategic, systems-driven CFO to architect and lead the financial backbone of a fast-scaling, multi-location business. This role demands more than accounting expertise—it calls for a visionary Chartered Accountant who can design financial frameworks, drive compliance, and enable growth across diverse verticals

1. Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis
· Ability to design and manage multi-vertical budgets, forecasts, and financial models
· Deep understanding of capital allocation, ROI analysis, and scenario planning
· Skill in aligning financial strategy with business growth and innovation

· Expert-level knowledge of GST, TDS, MCA filings, and audit protocols
· Ability to build internal controls and ensure zero non-compliance across locations
· Experience handling statutory audits and liaising with regulatory bodies

· Proficiency in ERP systems, financial dashboards, and automation tools
· Capability to standardize financial processes across locations and verticals
· Comfort with data-driven decision-making and digital transformation
4. Leadership & Team Development
· Proven ability to build, mentor, and scale finance teams
· Strong delegation skills with a focus on accountability and growth
· Collaborative mindset to work with operations, HR, and tech teams
5. Business Acumen & Commercial Insight
· Understanding of unit economics, pricing strategies, and cost structures
· Ability to evaluate new ventures (e.g., AI startup, franchise models) from a financial lens
· Experience in investor relations, funding strategy, and valuation modelling
6. Risk Management & Governance
· Skill in identifying financial risks and implementing mitigation strategies
· Experience in building governance frameworks and ethical financial practices
· Ability to navigate uncertainty while maintaining fiscal discipline
Responsibilities
· Financial Strategy & Planning:
· Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets across all business units
· Drive capital allocation, cost optimization, and ROI analysis for new ventures
· Compliance & Controls:
· Ensure timely and accurate filings (GST, TDS, MCA, etc.)
· Lead internal audits, statutory audits, and risk management protocols
· Systems & Automation:
· Implement ERP and financial dashboards for real-time visibility
· Standardize processes across locations for inventory, billing, and reporting
· Leadership & Collaboration:
· Build and mentor finance teams across verticals
· Partner with operations, HR, and tech teams to align financial goals with business strategy
· Strategic Projects:
· Support franchising models with unit economics and financial viability
· Contribute to AI startup planning with defensible financial models and investor readiness
