Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and mission-aligned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and ensure the long-term sustainability of our organization. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and stewardship of resources in alignment with our faith-based mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee financial strategy, planning, and forecasting
- Manage budgeting processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals
- Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, tax regulations, and donor restrictions
- Oversee internal controls, audits, and risk management
- Supervise finance staff and collaborate with program leaders to support mission delivery
- Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and financial partners
- Support fundraising efforts with financial insights and grant compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
- Minimum of 7–10 years of senior financial leadership experience, ideally in the nonprofit sector
- Deep understanding of nonprofit financial management, including restricted funds and grant reporting
- Strong alignment with the organization’s religious values and mission
- Exceptional strategic thinking, integrity, and communication skills
- Experience working with boards and senior leadership teams

Pay: $175,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
