Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and mission-aligned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and ensure the long-term sustainability of our organization. The CFO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for financial planning, budgeting, compliance, and stewardship of resources in alignment with our faith-based mission.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and oversee financial strategy, planning, and forecasting
Manage budgeting processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals
Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, tax regulations, and donor restrictions
Oversee internal controls, audits, and risk management
Supervise finance staff and collaborate with program leaders to support mission delivery
Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, and financial partners
Support fundraising efforts with financial insights and grant compliance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA or CPA preferred)
Minimum of 7–10 years of senior financial leadership experience, ideally in the nonprofit sector
Deep understanding of nonprofit financial management, including restricted funds and grant reporting
Strong alignment with the organization’s religious values and mission
Exceptional strategic thinking, integrity, and communication skills
Experience working with boards and senior leadership teams
