Job Overview
As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be at the helm of our financial strategy, guiding our nonprofit performing arts organization towards sustainable growth and profitability. Your leadership will ensure that our financial operations are not only efficient but also aligned with our long-term goals. You’ll collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic planning, oversee financial management, and provide insightful analysis that informs decision-making across the company.
What you’ll do
- Lead the development and execution of financial strategies that align with organizational goals.
- Oversee nonprofit accounting, ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Prepare and interpret comprehensive financial reports to guide executive decision-making.
- Supervise the finance team, ensuring high performance in payroll management, cost control, and budgeting.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in nonprofit senior leadership roles within finance or accounting.
- Strong understanding of nonprofit financial concepts including fund accounting, revenue cycle management, and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
Preferred qualifications
- 10 years experience with non-profit accounting principles and governmental accounting standards.
- 5+ years experience as a senior nonprofit financial manager with supervisory responsibilities.
- 5+ years experience in performing arts management.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

Pay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
