Position Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of a regional home builder will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization. The CFO will guide the company's financial strategy, ensuring compliance with regulations, optimizing financial performance, and supporting strategic growth. This position will play a critical role in shaping investment strategies and managing financial risks as the company continues to expand its portfolio of single-family production homes.
Key Responsibilities-
Develop and implement financial strategies to support business objectives

Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes

Manage cash flow and ensure the organization's liquidity

Lead risk management efforts to identify and mitigate financial risks

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards

Develop and manage investment strategies to maximize returns

Oversee corporate finance activities, including mergers and acquisitions

Conduct financial analysis to inform strategic planning

Collaborate with leadership to align financial goals with business objectives

Supervise the auditing process and ensure accuracy in financial statements
Qualifications-
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred

Proven experience as CFO or similar financial leadership role within the construction or home building industry

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management

Experience with risk management and compliance frameworks

Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic financial plans

Proficient in financial analysis and corporate finance practices

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of taxation regulations and financial auditing processes

Experience in handling financial operations for single-family production homes
