The CFO will report to CEO and oversee and direct all financial activities of the corporation, with a team of 5 professional and clerical staff. This position is a combination of hands-on and supervisory, as well as strategic planning to facilitate continued successful growth of corporation.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
· Develop and execute the company’s financial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
· Advise the CEO and executive team on financial planning, capital structure, and growth initiatives.
· Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, cash flow, and treasury functions.
· Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory standards (GAAP, IFRS, etc.). Ensure compliance with tax laws, financial regulations, and corporate governance policies.
· Manage internal controls, audits, and financial risk assessments.
· Lead long-term financial forecasting, scenario modeling, and strategic investment planning.
· Direct responsibility for information needed for annual tax return preparation.
· Responsibility for annual 401K audit, as well as ongoing administration and oversight.
· Oversee all reporting related to sales and use tax and any other governmental required reporting as needed.
· Responsible for maintaining appropriate banking relationship(s) to fund future growth.
· Ensure cash flow is appropriate for ongoing operations and company goals – analyze, adjust and communicate to executive team as needed.
· Preparation and monitoring of annual budget/forecast.
· Manage and direct risk management function of corporation to include all insurance policies, ensuring that coverage is adequate for goals of corporation.
· Direct liaison for outside professional partners including insurance brokers, bankers, financial and legal professionals, 401k administrators, payroll and HR services.
· Coordinate and lead the annual external audit process, including preparation of audit materials, liaison with auditors, and resolution of audit findings.
· Work closely with executive management team to collaborate on future strategic goals of company, and monitor against actual results.
· Critical member of ERP implementation team.

· CPA or MBA
· Direct experience in either public accounting or public company. Knowledge and mastery of audit requirements and GAAP is critical
