Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a 5-year financial roadmap aligned with strategic goals.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, audits, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Drive operational efficiency through technology and data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, loan covenants, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate across departments to align financial strategies with fundraising and tuition assistance initiatives.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in finance.
- Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, audits, and strategic planning.
- Advanced proficiency in financial systems (Sage, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Blackbaud, etc.).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking.
- Experience in nonprofit or educational settings is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI and automation tools in financial operations is highly desirable.
