Overview:
Client is seeking a
Business Operations Specialist to join our
Global Marketing Strategy & Operations team. In this role, you'll serve as a key partner to our Global Marketing organization, helping manage budgets, optimize operations, and ensure efficient allocation of resources. You will play a pivotal role in budget planning, forecasting, and financial reporting—leveraging your analytical expertise to support leadership decisions and streamline processes across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the in-house Pigment software expert, managing and enhancing budget management and forecasting tools.
- Maintain and evolve Pigment model infrastructure, create analytical views, and improve usability for cross-functional teams.
- Partner with Global Marketing stakeholders to execute budget plans, manage purchase orders, invoices, and accruals.
- Reconcile budget plans and actual spending using disparate datasets; create reporting to monitor execution and mitigate risks.
- Oversee billing transactions, vendor communications, and month-end close in collaboration with Accounting.
- Collaborate with the Global Marketing team to define and improve operational processes as the business scales.
- Facilitate vendor onboarding and manage relationships with Procurement on behalf of Marketing.
- Identify and implement automation and AI-driven solutions to enhance accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Support annual planning, including bottoms-up forecasting, alignment with company goals, and reconciliation activities.
- Conduct detailed financial and operational analyses for leadership requests.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in an operational role, ideally in Marketing or Business Operations
- Experience partnering with Accounting and Finance teams and managing budgets
- Desire to connect with a scaled, global team of cross-functional stakeholders spanning every level of the Marketing organization
- Positive and proactive attitude when taking on complex questions and new projects
- Comfort troubleshooting technical questions with Finance and Accounting
- Hunger to solve problems and scale operations through new and creative ways
- Experience maintaining and optimizing budget management tools - (e.g., Pigment, Oracle Cloud), including model updates, view creation, and reporting enhancements.
- Interest in leveraging AI and automation to enhance operational efficiency and decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expertise with Google Sheets
- Experience with Pigment is a plus
