About the Role:
Based in Brisbane, a unique opportunity has become available to join QIC Real Estate in a pivotal executive leadership position as General Manager – Real Estate Business Operations and Support, reporting directly to the Managing Director of Real Estate. This is a high-impact role with a broad remit across Investment Teams, Treasury, Legal, Valuation, Insights, and Governance. You will oversee critical operational streams, drive process excellence, and champion initiatives that enable QIC Real Estate to deliver exceptional outcomes for clients and stakeholders. Your influence will extend across the executive team and key corporate functions, ensuring operational integrity and strategic alignment at scale.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and optimise operational support streams across Real Estate, including Valuations, Governance, Legal, and Reporting.
Act as a trusted advisor to the MD and executive team, delivering insights and strategic recommendations.
Drive performance improvement strategies and embed operational excellence across the division, linking operational efficiency through to corporate services.
Oversee resource allocation and budget optimisation to achieve strategic objectives.
Champion collaboration across internal teams and corporate functions, ensuring best practice delivery.
Represent Real Estate in strategic initiatives and forums, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Lead tenders and negotiations with major real estate third party providers.
To Succeed in This Role You Will Have:
Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Economics, or Business Management.
Extensive leadership experience within complex investment or property environments.
Strong commercial acumen and advanced analytical capability.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Ability to influence and negotiate at all levels and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Proven experience in operational strategy development and implementation.
