The Team
You’ll join our Operations function, working closely with the COO, Executive team, and leaders across Sales, Delivery, Finance, HR, and Marketing. This team is the connective tissue of Cloudwerx - driving rhythm, alignment, and performance across the organisation as we scale.
The Role
We’re hiring a Business Operations Lead to own the day-to-day rhythm of the Cloudwerx business - bringing operational clarity, alignment, and execution across teams.
This role blends operational management, business improvement, and special project delivery. You’ll ensure the company runs efficiently and scales smoothly while enabling the COO and Executive team to focus on growth, clients, and strategic priorities.
What you’ll do
- Own the “heartbeat” of the business - quarterly planning, monthly reviews, leadership meetings, and reporting cycles
- Partner with Sales, Delivery, Finance (primary), HR, and Marketing (secondary) to ensure alignment across all operational systems
- Maintain and optimise management dashboards, OKRs, and performance scorecards
- Coordinate BAU operations to ensure consistency, documentation, and scalability
- Oversee compliance, policy, and governance routines (quality, security, procurement, vendor)
- Act as the first point of contact for operational issues requiring cross-functional coordination
- Lead COO-sponsored initiatives - e.g. new delivery models, margin improvement, or business integrations
- Manage plans, budgets, and stakeholders for key operational projects
- Identify and execute opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
- Support implementation of new tools, AI agents, and data automation for better decision-making
- Help prepare board, executive, and all-hands reporting packs
- Translate strategic decisions into actionable plans for teams
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and “one Cloudwerx” execution
What we’re looking for
- 5–10 years in operations, consulting, or project delivery roles
- Proven experience driving operational efficiency and scaling processes in high-growth environments
- Strong commercial acumen with ability to interpret P&L, delivery, and utilisation data
- Experience in management consulting, PMO, or operations leadership (ideally in technology or professional services)
- Exposure to financial services is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational, program management, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proficiency with modern operating tools (e.g. SFDC, Xero)
- Clear communicator with strong influencing ability across teams and levels
- Pragmatic, calm, and execution-oriented; thrives in dynamic, fast-paced settings
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential information sensitively
- Degree in Business, Operations, or related discipline
- Experience in professional services or SaaS scale-ups preferred
