Director of Business Operations
Location: Sydney
Salary: $250,000 FTE + Super (pro-rata for 3 months)
A prestigious and well-established organisation in the education sector is seeking an experienced Director of Business Operations for a short-term 3-month contract. This is an immediate start role providing high-level financial, operational and strategic support to the executive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and improve business systems, processes and workflows
- Oversee policy compliance, internal audits and governance
- Provide financial oversight including budgeting, forecasting and reporting
- Analyse performance, identify risks and recommend improvements
- Support strategic projects, planning and business modelling
- Manage and mentor operations staff
- Build strong stakeholder relationships
- Uphold professional standards, confidentiality and WHS requirements
Ideal Candidate
- Senior operations leader with experience in finance, strategy or business operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to improve processes and organisational performance
- Skilled in budgeting, forecasting and operational reporting
