As we scale our operations and expand our market presence, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Sales Officer to lead our sales organization.
Position Overview
The Chief Sales Officer will be responsible for developing, executing, and overseeing all sales strategies to drive revenue growth. This leader will manage the entire sales organization, refine our go-to-market approach, and ensure strong performance across new business, upsell, and channel sales. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in SaaS healthcare technology, a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams, and the ability to drive predictable and scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
- Develop and execute a scalable sales strategy aligned with company goals.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team across multiple functions.
- Establish a data-driven culture focused on KPIs, forecasting, and continual improvement.
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team on market expansion and product positioning.
Revenue Growth
- Own the full sales cycle for new business and expansion revenue.
- Build and refine sales processes, compensation structures, and enablement programs.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities to influence GTM strategy.
- Drive performance management initiatives ensuring quota attainment across the team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Implementation, Client Success, and Product teams to ensure alignment across lead generation, onboarding, and customer lifecycle.
- Provide market and customer feedback to shape product direction and roadmap.
- Support strategic partnerships and channel programs to accelerate growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8+ years of experience leading sales teams in the SaaS IT Healthcare industry.
- Deep understanding of medical practices, RCM workflows, EHR/PM systems, and healthcare industry dynamics.
- Proven history of achieving and exceeding revenue targets in a high-growth SaaS environment.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and retain high-performing sales talent.
- Strong command of CRM systems, sales metrics, and forecasting models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and executive-level presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute tactically in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
Experience scaling sales teams from mid-size to enterprise levels.
Background in U.S. healthcare markets and regulatory environments.
Prior experience working with distributed or global teams.
