Position Summary
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) serves as a member of the executive leadership team and is responsible for developing and executing the company-wide revenue strategy for DecisionHR. This role provides vision, leadership, and cross-functional alignment to drive sustainable revenue growth across PEO services including HR administration, payroll, benefits, compliance, and risk management solutions.
The CRO integrates sales, marketing, client retention, pricing strategy, and revenue operations to achieve revenue targets, increase market share, and maximize client lifetime value. The position reports directly to the CEO and plays a critical role in scaling the organization’s revenue performance in a competitive PEO marketplace.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute long-term revenue strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Establish annual and multi-year revenue targets and growth plans.
- Drive new business acquisition, demand generation, and market expansion strategies.
- Identify new verticals, partnerships, and distribution channels to expand market penetration.
- Align pricing strategies with market conditions and profitability objectives.
Sales Leadership
- Lead and develop the sales organization, including territory strategy, compensation design, and performance management.
- Establish KPIs and OKRs for sales performance, pipeline management, and conversion metrics.
- Optimize sales structure to support scalable growth.
- Implement forecasting models to improve revenue predictability.
Marketing & Demand Generation
- Oversee demand generation strategy, brand positioning, and lead development programs.
- Ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with sales objectives and revenue goals.
- Utilize analytics to measure ROI and customer acquisition cost.
Client Retention & Revenue Optimization
- Partner with operations and service teams to improve client retention and reduce churn.
- Develop strategies to increase cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
- Establish analytics and reporting frameworks to monitor revenue capture and operational efficiency.
Data & Analytics
- Implement advanced revenue analytics, forecasting, and pricing analysis.
- Monitor market trends, competitive positioning, and regulatory impacts within the PEO industry.
- Use data-driven insights to identify operational deficiencies and growth opportunities.
Organizational Leadership
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the CEO and executive team.
- Drive cross-functional integration between sales, marketing, finance, and operations.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Progressive executive leadership experience in revenue, sales, or commercial strategy roles
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing long-term business growth strategies
- Experience in PEO, HR outsourcing, payroll services, insurance brokerage, or related B2B services strongly preferred
- Expert-level knowledge of revenue forecasting, pricing strategy, and performance analytics
