About Hyperlayer
Hyperlayer is building a payments platform that helps people feel more confident, secure, and in control of their financial lives. We turn digital wallets into smart wallets that support people, families, and communities in spending with intention and ease.
Our technology enables purposeful spending, thoughtful rewards, and shared financial experiences like group saving and contributing — all in one place.
We work with major retailers and financial institutions to create solutions that genuinely support people in their everyday financial decisions and long-term wellbeing.
About The Role
We’re growing our Business Operations Team and are looking for a supportive, thoughtful, and relationship-oriented Senior Business Operations Associate. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Head of Business Operations and become a trusted partner in organising, guiding, and delivering initiatives that help the company flow smoothly and sustainably.
You’ll collaborate with friendly, dedicated colleagues across Sales, Partnerships, Product, Tech, Finance, and Leadership, contributing to a wide range of projects — from crafting meaningful client materials to nurturing efficient processes and building clear business insights.
This role is ideal for someone who values shared success, enjoys making complex things feel simple, and thrives in environments where people lift each other up.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as a trusted partner to the Head of Business Operations – helping create clarity, prioritise thoughtfully, and bring structure to initiatives across the organisation.
- Support cross-functional collaboration – working closely with Sales, Partnerships, Finance, and Operations to foster alignment, smooth communication, and collective progress.
- Develop clear, beautifully presented materials – creating client and investor decks, internal documents, and leadership-ready content that makes information feel accessible and welcoming.
- Co-create and prototype client concepts – partnering with Sales and Partnerships to shape possibilities, visualise opportunities, and bring fresh ideas to life using tools like Figma, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Strengthen operational wellbeing – simplifying processes, encouraging better working rhythms, and helping teams stay organised and connected.
- Support key operational foundations – nurturing vendor relationships, contributing to security initiatives, and helping maintain a reliable, calm operational backbone.
- Use data thoughtfully – pulling insights from HubSpot, SharePoint, and analytics tools to help inform decisions in a grounded, balanced way.
- Mentor and support junior colleagues – offering guidance, encouragement, and coaching that helps them learn, feel confident, and grow in their roles.
You Should Apply If You Have
- 3–5+ years’ experience in business operations, consulting, sales operations, or strategy roles.
- Knowledge of financial services and technology, ideally including fintech.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and projects in a steady, organised manner.
- A blend of creativity and structure — comfortable designing beautiful materials and shaping processes that support clarity and flow.
- Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot (or other CRMs), PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Figma.
- Comfort using reporting tools such as PowerBI and Excel.
- A reflective, data-aware mindset that uses insights to guide improvements.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to explain finance/tech topics in a warm and accessible way.
- A collaborative, open, and empathetic approach to teamwork.
