Job Description:
The CFO & Head of Capital Markets will serve as a key executive and strategic partner to the CEO, responsible for all financial operations and capital markets initiatives. This dual-role executive will oversee all financial operations, lead capital raising efforts, and manage investor relations for a growing land development company launching a real estate investment fund.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will drive the company’s financial vision, manage capital strategy, and build a high-performing finance and capital markets team (up to six members).
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a fundraising strategy for new or existing real estate development funds.
- Manage due diligence processes and investor onboarding.
- Lead financial strategy, forecasting, modeling, and reporting for development projects and corporate operations.
- Manage CRM systems to track investor pipeline, capital commitments, and outreach activity.
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing finance and capital markets team
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base = $175,000 to $225,000
- Variable Commission = performance-based/profit-sharing/equity participation
- Projected Year One Earnings:
- Monthly company stipend: $250 per employee + $250 per dependent
- 2 weeks vacation plus standard national holidays
