Position Overview
SuperX is building next-generation AI infrastructure and compute platforms serving global enterprise, cloud, and research customers. We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and execution-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead all finance, capital markets, and compliance functions. The CFO will partner closely with the CEO and executive team to support company-wide growth, global expansion, and potential capital market activities (including M&A or future public offerings).
This role is based in Singapore with global responsibilities across our subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute the company’s long-term financial strategy aligned with SuperX’s AI infrastructure roadmap.
- Provide strategic insights on capital allocation, ROI analysis, product profitability, and business model evolution.
- Serve as a key advisor to the CEO, Board of Directors, and senior leadership team.
2. Financial Planning, FP&A, and Operations
- Lead financial planning & analysis (FP&A), budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
- Build scalable financial systems and processes to support hyper-growth and international expansion.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and operational metrics to enhance business performance.
3. Accounting, Audit, and Internal Controls
- Oversee global accounting functions, including consolidation, revenue recognition, multi-entity reporting, and tax compliance.
- Ensure adherence to US GAAP standards.
- Implement strong internal controls and risk-management systems.
- Manage annual audit processes across Singapore, Australia, U.S. and other jurisdictions.
4. Capital Markets, Financing & Investor Relations
- Lead fundraising activities including equity, debt financing, and strategic partnerships.
- Manage banking relationships, investment institutions, and rating agencies.
- Prepare investor materials, board packs, and performance updates.
- Lead preparations for NASDAQ public filing processes, including 20-F, 6-k, F-1/F-3, and other SEC filings.
5. Treasury & Cash Management
- Oversee cash management, treasury operations, working capital planning, and currency risk hedging.
- Optimize capital structure and ensure strong liquidity planning.
6. Compliance, Governance & Tax
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in all operating markets.
- Work with external counsel on corporate structure, tax planning, and cross-border transactions.
- Support the Corporate Secretary and governance committees on governance matters.
7. Finance Team Leadership
- Build, scale, and manage a high-performing global finance team.
- Implement talent development, team structure, and succession planning.
- Lead transformation projects involving automation, ERP systems, or data platforms.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience, preferably in technology, cloud computing, data center, AI infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries.
- Proven experience overseeing multi-entity, cross-border finance operations.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, corporate governance, and internal controls, familiarity with SOX compliance.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising, M&A, or dealing with investors / capital markets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner with senior stakeholders and board members.
Preferred
- Experience in a NASDAQ listed company.
- CPA, CFA, CA, or MBA preferred.
- Experience managing complex project financing such as data center CAPEX, GPU procurement financing, or structured credit.
- Experience building finance teams in hyper-growth environments.
