Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role, based in West Wickham. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will oversee financial planning, reporting, and management to ensure the Trust's financial health and sustainability. Key responsibilities include preparing accurate financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting financial analysis for strategic decision-making, and leading the finance team. The CFO will collaborate with stakeholders to allocate resources effectively and support the Trust's commitment to delivering the best possible educational outcomes. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for financial improvement and growth.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Financial Planning and Finance management
- Proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
- Excellent Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making and strategic planning
- Thorough understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Significant experience in financial leadership roles, preferably in the educational or public sector
- Professional financial qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) are highly desirable
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders
