Job description
This role is a unique blend of business operations, supply chain coordination, and BD support for the RoA (Rest of Africa) markets. The incumbent will not only manage core operational processes (end-to-end cash cycle), order management, finance and regulatory coordination, but will also gain exposure to business development activities
Business Operations & Supply Planning
•Coordinate with SCM, Regulatory, Logistics, and Finance teams to ensure seamless order execution.
•Generate Pro forma Invoices (PFIs) against new PO, and track order-to-cash cycles.
•Ensure timely dispatches by coordinating with partners on import permits, advance payments, and LC establishment.
•Manage shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and timely sharing to avoid demurrage or compliance issues.
•Track and maintain stock positions across plants and distributor locations to ensure optimal inventory levels.
Commercial & Business Support
•Engage with business partners / distributors & SCM to align and prepare monthly sales estimates with budgeted numbers.
•Manage inventory planning (e.g., Zimbabwe, Mauritius) by reviewing second line sales, sales trends, and demand forecasts.
•Upload consensus forecast and validate demand in SAP IBP by coordinating with Country teams, ensuring accuracy of demand KPIs and forecasts.
•Contribute to sales and budget planning exercises by preparing country-wise and molecule-wise MIS reports.
•Support business development initiatives by liasoning of agreement, compiling market insights, tracking competitive trends, and preparing reports for management review.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Exposure
•Partner with NPL team and regulatory teams to manage product launch, product registrations, and revisions.
•Assist in dispatch of marketing inputs to distributors and affiliates.
•Actively support review meetings by preparing MIS dashboards, financial analyses, and operational reports.
•Develop decision-making skills and work independently while building a strong foundation for future roles in commercial strategy and business development.
