Responsibilities:
The Board Certified Behaviour Analyst “BCBA” creates and supervises individualized programming and behaviour reduction plans for children/youth with autism based upon the principles of Applied Behavioural Analysis. The BCBA will help to build capacity to Autism Therapists by implementing and supporting best practices, ethical decision making and providing consultation and expertise in the area of ABA practices and instructional methods within a variety of contexts. Provides clinical supervision and mentorship for Registered Behaviour Technician (RBT) candidates, as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Education, Psychology, Behavioural Analysis or related discipline.
Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) certification required.
Experience:
Preferred: Minimum 4 years providing ABA therapy to children/youth with ASD with at least 2 year’s clinical experience in assessment, treatment planning and monitoring, consultation and parent training. Proven ability to work with multi-disciplinary groups as a team and experience in providing staff training and consultation.
