Job Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy, growth, and long-term success of our manufacturing organization. The successful candidate will be a seasoned financial leader with deep expertise across both Canadian and U.S. markets, a strong command of modern financial systems, and a proven ability to drive business performance through strategic insight, innovation, and technology, with particular focus on manufacturing operations, production efficiency, and printing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, tax planning, and treasury.
- Lead the finance department to ensure effective financial planning and operational excellence.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with corporate goals and growth initiatives.
- Partner with executive leadership to evaluate key investment opportunities (e.g., technology, market expansion, and M&A).
- Oversee cash flow management, investment strategies, and risk assessment to ensure organizational financial stability.
- Lead the modernization of financial systems in close partnership with IT leadership, ensuring scalability, integration, data integrity, and cybersecurity. Lead the use of automation and advanced software solutions (e.g., Sage Intacct) to enhance accuracy, visibility, and operational efficiency.
- Deliver insightful financial modeling, data analytics, and reports to support informed decision-making at all organizational levels.
- Collaborate with business leaders to identify new revenue streams, market opportunities, and business development initiatives.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, partners, and stakeholders to optimize financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with all financial, legal, and regulatory standards, maintaining robust internal controls.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the finance team.
Qualifications:
- CPA designation with 15+ years of progressive financial management experience.
- Minimum 5 years in a manufacturing environment, ideally including printing or production operations.
- Proven experience operating in both Canadian and U.S. business contexts.
- Strong technology orientation, with a track record of implementing ERP or financial software solutions and leading digital transformation initiatives.
- Sage Intacct or similar ERP experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced skills in financial modeling, data analytics, and risk management.
- Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving abilities.

Remuneration:
$160,000 - $185,000 CDN depending on candidate’s experience plus an up to $25,000 discretionary bonus.
Other:
Hybrid – 2 days/week on-site (Toronto) currently, but this flexible model is subject to change at the sole discretion of the senior leadership team.
