Role Overview
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) / Chartered Accountant will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of Skylink Fibernet Ltd while ensuring robust financial controls, statutory compliance, and accurate reporting.
This role also serves as a trusted, confidential, and strategic advisor to the Managing Director, supporting decision-making across financial strategy, risk management, capital planning, and business growth. The position demands the highest levels of integrity, discretion, and professionalism, particularly in handling promoter-level and strategic information.
Key Responsibilities1. Financial Management & Operations
- Oversee daily finance and accounts operations, including:
- Accounting and book closures
- Cash flow and liquidity management
- Banking and treasury operations
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of:
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- MIS reports for MD and senior management
- Monitor working capital, receivables, payables, and cash cycles.
2. Statutory, Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with:
- Income Tax Act
- GST laws
- Companies Act (financial provisions)
- Other applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
- Oversee:
- GST returns, reconciliations, and audits
- TDS compliance and filings
- Coordination with statutory, tax, and internal auditors
- Ensure timely audit completion and closure of audit observations.
3. Strategic Advisory & MD Support (Confidential Role)
- Act as a confidential financial advisor to the Managing Director on:
- Overall financial health and sustainability
- Cost optimization and profitability improvement
- Capital expenditure and investment decisions
- Financial risk assessment and mitigation
- Provide clear, actionable financial insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Proactively identify and flag financial, tax, or compliance risks to the MD.
4. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning
- Prepare and monitor:
- Annual budgets
- Financial forecasts
- Variance analysis with actionable recommendations
- Support long-term financial planning aligned with business expansion and growth strategies.
5. Banking, Funding & Stakeholder Management
- Liaise with:
- Banks and financial institutions
- Auditors, tax consultants, and financial advisors
- Support working capital facilities, funding requirements, and lender reporting (where applicable).
6. Internal Controls, Governance & Ethics
- Establish and maintain strong internal financial controls and discipline.
- Ensure strict confidentiality of financial, promoter-level, and strategic information.
- Support governance best practices across the organization.
Skills & CompetenciesTechnical & Functional Skills
- Strong expertise in:
- Financial accounting and reporting
- GST, direct taxation, and statutory compliance
- Budgeting, forecasting, and MIS
- Hands-on experience with:
- Accounting systems / ERP platforms
- Audit coordination and financial closures
- Ability to analyze complex financial data and present insights clearly to senior leadership.

Educational Qualification
- MBA (Finance)
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Cost & Management Accountant (CMA / ICWA)
- Master’s in Finance / Accounting / Economics
- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
